Bryan asks Maria on a date, and after getting a good recommendation from their mutual friend Summer, she says yes! They have a blast, and Maria ends up meeting half of Bryan's friends that very night.

Maria and Bryan spend the summer hanging out and traveling together, including Bonnaroo, Knoxville, state parks, and more.

Bryan proposes on October 18th, 2024 on Vashon Island in Seattle. He distracted her by pretending to see orcas in the water - and then orcas swam by right after the proposal!
